This session is designed for:

  • Candidates who are on the promotion track and are revisiting their value proposition and highlighting their past experiences and current qualifications as they seek an executive position

  • Newer executives—founders, people recently promoted, or recently hired into their first executive role—who need to reframe their experience and reorient their public persona

  • Longer-term executives who want to refresh and modernize their profile and tell their story of success

Janet Miller Evans, Owner, Principal Coach & Consultant Janet Miller Evans & Associates

Janet Miller Evans is following her passion for guiding others on their professional and personal growth journeys. After 25 years of leadership in Fortune 100 companies, she is the founder of Janet Miller Evans & Associates. JMEA provides coaching/training services to corporations, nonprofit organizations, and private clients. Areas of expertise include leadership development, employee engagement, trust, and emotional intelligence. Janet received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Master of Public Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is also an Adjunct Professor in Professional Studies and Public Administration. Janet has served on community non-profit boards and as being appointed an inaugural member of the Alamo Municipal Advisory Council.  Janet currently serves on the Community Advisory Panel for KQED and is a member of the San Francisco Chapter of The Links, Inc. She enjoys hiking, reading, and travel. She is married and has two daughters.


Melissa Schwartz, Presentation and Communications Skills Coach and Trainer, IMPACT3Sixty

Presentation and communication skills are in Melissa’s DNA. She has spent the last 20+ years helping executives and high potentials succeed in the most important presentations and interactions of their careers. Her methodology is built on a solid foundation of research and experience and has been honed over scores of successful coaching engagements. She believes that how you show up matters, and everyone has the ability to improve their presence, their communication skills and their ability to deliver a powerful presentation. Melissa believes coaching and training should be fun, challenging and engaging, and aims to become a trusted advisor, coach and resource. She’s grateful every day that she gets to do work she loves.



Kristin Speer, Managing Partner - Technology Practice, Westwood & Wilshire

Kristin Speer is Managing Partner of Westwood & Wilshire’s Technology Practice, specializing in executive search for cloud-based SaaS and PaaS companies with B2B and B2B2C business models. She distinguished herself in Korn/Ferry International’s Global Technology Practice, and went on to establish AccelSearch, completing numerous retained executive searches across a variety of C-level roles for both emerging technology startups and global technology companies. Kris earned a double major bachelor’s degree (B.A.S.) from Stanford University in Environmental Earth Sciences and Music, and was elected to the Stanford Cap & Gown Honorary Society. Kris is a board member and the former Board Chair of Redwood Symphony, and loves ballroom dancing


Dixie Dunn, VP Customer Success (Enterprise, Big Data Software Development) OptimalPlus

Dixie Dunn is VP of Customer Success at Optimal Plus where her team manages global customer accounts and helps customers leverage big data analytics in their business operations. Dixie started her career with a Physics degree as an industrial lab tech and moved through various technical and business managerial and executive roles in global startups and Fortune 500 companies in electronics hardware and enterprise software. She is based in San Jose, California. Dixie holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a Master in Business Administration both from Utah University.
