Colleen Crangle in "By sea and by air: An immigrant's perspective on the status of women in the US" at the International Women's Day event sponsored by the UN Midpeninsula Chapter and Palo Alto Lean In. In a short presentation, Colleen will share how she came to be one of the earliest researchers on Artificial Intelligence (before it was called "AI"!), boldly fought discrimination along the way and asks: what is still needed to ensure full participation of women, including immigrant women, in the prosperity of the land?
